Days/Nights, 7am - 7pm; 7pm - 7am, including weekends and holidays as per unit need.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in a long-term care environment. The RN will be responsible for the care of residents, which includes conducting assessments, implementing nursing plans, overseeing LPN and CNA colleagues, and administering medications. This role focuses on geriatric residents with primarily chronic care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assessments.
• Document patient information and implement nursing plans.
• Oversee the work of LPNs and CNAs.
• Administer medications and ensure proper wound care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State RN License required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a long-term care setting.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
