Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will facilitate the development and rehabilitation of patients with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed occupational therapy. This role includes working with various patient populations and requires a willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer occupational therapy interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adapt treatment as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 3+ years of Occupational Therapy experience, preferably in behavioral health (experience must be within the last 3 months).
- Licensed by the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
- Experience with various age groups must be listed on the resume.
- Active Vermont or Compact license.
- Active American Health Association BLS certification.
