Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge RN. This role requires a dedicated professional with strong leadership capabilities to oversee patient care and coordinate nursing activities on a 29-bed unit. The Charge RN will be responsible for managing patients from adulthood through geriatrics, particularly those undergoing orthopedic and medical surgical procedures, including total joint replacements and fracture repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with varying medical needs.
• Oversee and direct nursing staff while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to any critical changes in patient conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments and administer care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Charge RN experience is required.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC charting system experience is mandatory.
• Candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of compliance.
