Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:00). Includes 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts as needed, with weekend and holiday coverage required.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with a focus on Trauma, ideally with Level I Trauma, Liver, and Kidney experience. Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating in the operating room, with a preference for candidates with float capability to the GI unit or Center One Surgery Center.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in surgical procedures, particularly in trauma, liver, and kidney surgeries.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety during all surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflows and effective communication.
• Attend to patients in the OR and assist in post-operative care as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level I Trauma setting.
• Current PA or compact license required at the time of submission.
• BSN required.
• Trauma certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
