Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse who is proficient in handling a range of patient care responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and possess a comprehensive understanding of medical-surgical nursing standards.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
Administer medications and treatment plans as directed by the healthcare provider.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
Valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Epic experience is mandatory.
NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start.
One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
