Day 4x10-Hour shift (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM) with varying days off each week. Call required on weekends and evenings/nights.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a specialty in Neuro and Body procedures. The ideal candidate must have robust skills in both Neuro (including stroke intervention) and Body procedures, with evidence of inpatient hospital experience and proficiency in using Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform various interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, and biopsies.
- Ensure a sterile environment and maintain proper protocols during procedures.
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and assist in patient care.
- Perform patient assessments and collaborate with physicians during interventional procedures.
- Document procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Current BLS certification and ARRT certification.
- Experience with PACS and proficiency in both Siemens and Philips imaging equipment.
- ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
