Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)

Location

This position is located in North Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This role requires a day shift schedule of 5x8 hours, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Candidates should be flexible as occasional 8:30 AM rotations may be scheduled and rotating weekends will be required, with one weekend every four weeks.

Job Description

Seeking a certified Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to join our team. This position involves performing echocardiograms including TEE, Stress Echo, and advanced imaging techniques such as 3D strain imaging. Candidates will float to other facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Administer echocardiograms and perform diagnostic tests.
Ensure accurate imaging techniques are employed and maintain high-quality results.
Assist with patient management and provide comprehensive care during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Registered Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS RDCS, AE certified).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience with GE and/or Philips equipment is necessary.
Prior experience in a clinical echocardiography setting.
