Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry Nurse to join our team. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using advanced telemetry equipment. You will play a crucial role in the early detection of cardiac events and ensure timely intervention to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and respond to any changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or critical care.
- Proficiency in using telemetry equipment and electronic health records.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
