This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Day & Night Shifts (07:00 - 19:30; 19:00 - 07:30). Rotating shifts may apply based on operational needs.

Job Description

The role requires providing care in a stepdown unit, with potential to float to similar patient populations. Nurses will need to maintain high standards of patient care and may manage acute and critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

Monitor patient conditions and administer appropriate treatments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Document patient assessments and plan of care accurately.
Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
Current Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
