This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday with shifts from 06:50 to 15:30 or 06:50 to 17:30 for day shifts, and 11:00 to 19:30 for evening shifts. Weekend call required every 5 weeks, along with a weekday call shift.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and flexible Operating Room Nurses or Scrub Technicians to join our surgical team. The candidate will be responsible for both circulating and scrubbing in various surgical procedures, primarily in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and other specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures and ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Participate in the pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
• 2 years of experience in surgical specialty preferred, especially in orthopedics and general cases.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
