Job Description
The Neuro ICU/IMCU RN will provide care in both the intensive care unit (ICU) and the step-down unit (IMCU). Candidates should be prepared to float between the ICU and IMCU as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients with neuro-specific conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Document patient status accurately and timely.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro specialty.
- Must possess a valid nursing license verified through Nursys.
- Strong neuro experience reflected in work history, with no gaps greater than 60 days.
- Certification in relevant nursing practices is required.
