PCU-TELE RN

Location

This position is available in a location that includes a central pool with a trauma level 1 teaching facility.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with a duration of 13 weeks.

Schedule

The shift is 12 hours during the day. Flexibility with scheduling is required, including the possibility of working every other weekend.

Job Description

The PCU-TELE RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires floating to various units within the central pool as needed, ensuring patient needs are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to telehealth patients in the PCU.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and unit specialty: Cardiology.
Experience with post-cath, stemis, and structural heart patients.
Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS required prior to start).
EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory and non-negotiable.
