Schedule

Mid Shift: 4x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30); Day Shift: 4x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Job Description

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders. The role includes responsibilities in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The nurse will work under the direction of management and is responsible for fostering a therapeutic environment for patients.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and document care in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as required.
Provide support and guidance to staff and patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH / PSYCHIATRY.
Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland.
BCLS certification required.
Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
