This is a contract position for a duration of up to 32 weeks.

Schedule

The shift is rotating between day and night with a minimum requirement of every other weekend. Flexibility with the schedule is essential to meet patient care needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate clinical expertise, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and report changes in patient status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required prior to start.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing is preferred.
• Experience in large, teaching facilities is required.
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
• Additional certifications such as CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or ProAct are preferred.
