Schedule

3 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday varied as needed (2 Fridays/month) and 1 24-hour weekend call day every month with 3 weeknight call shifts (7:30 PM - 7:00 AM) per month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, demonstrating assessment skills and clinical competencies. The nurse is responsible for accurate documentation, patient education, and maintaining safety standards throughout patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and systematic assessments of patients across the lifespan.
• Deliver competent clinical care and support patient care activities effectively.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation in patient records.
• Respond professionally to patients, families, and co-workers to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and utilize proper safety protocols.
• Tailor individual patient care based on specific conditions and procedures.
• Assess patient understanding and provide education regarding surgical procedures.
• Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate pre-admission requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of critical care experience required.
• Active RN License in the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
