Job Description
The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes, develops, administers, directs, and supervises OT treatment in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines.
Responsibilities

- Assess patient’s level of functioning upon physician orders and plan appropriate treatments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team processes and discharge planning.
- Complete documentation according to Department policy and procedures.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students.
- Promote patient and employee safety in all activities.
- Communicate effectively with patients and family members.
- Budget time and set priorities while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.
- Instill confidence in team members, patients, and families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
- Must hold a valid, current State license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
