Registered Nurse - Charge RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in a 29-bed unit specializing in orthopedic and medical-surgical needs. The RN will play an integral role in monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Manage a patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse during shifts.
Coordinate patient care and act as Charge RN when needed.
Perform telemetry monitoring and participate in patient rehabilitation activities.
Collaborate with various healthcare teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with established standards and protocols for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with previous travel experience required.
Charge RN experience is mandatory.
BLS certification is required.
Experience with the Epic charting system.
Ability to float to other units or campuses as needed.
