Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. This role includes additional responsibilities like charge nurse, preceptor, and participation in committees. The nurse will develop a diversified skill set while caring for a variety of surgical patients, including thoracic, foregut, plastics, and burn patients, as well as post-operative management for pulmonary hypertension patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Utilize telemetry and monitor critical patient data.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
• Engage in professional development and team collaboration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Current New York RN License.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Telemetry experience is required.
