RN Supervisor - Skilled Nursing Facility

Location

New York

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 4x9-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), including three 8-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift per week, totaling 36 hours weekly.

Job Description

The RN Supervisor will serve as a clinical resource for problem solving, offering expertise and facilitating staff mentoring, coaching, and patient flow during off shifts (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays) in a 180-bed skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing care delivered across all units within the facility.
Provide clinical expertise and resource support for staff.
Facilitate patient flow and manage care for residents with diagnoses including dementia, diabetes, CVA, and cardiac conditions.
Monitor and report sentinel events, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Oversee and participate in the orientation of new employees.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years nursing experience with previous charge experience required.
EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
Current New York state RN license is required.
