Job Description
The RN NICU will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to very high acuity patients in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role demands expertise in caring for infants from 22 weeks gestation and greater, utilizing advanced medical interventions to ensure the best outcomes for our vulnerable patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive care therapies such as total body cooling, conventional to High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation.
- Administer inhaled nitric, vasopressor/sedation continuous IV drips, and maintain central line access.
- Conduct neonatal resuscitation and emergency interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- NRP certification required.
