Job Description

The Cath Lab RN is responsible for delivering high-quality care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting along with critical care or emergency department experience. The RN will be responsible for tasks including sedation and circulation during various procedures, including Left heart Cath, STEMIs, PCI, and Right heart cath.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Administer sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist with the placement of temporary wires, pacemakers, and other devices.
• Participate in patient education and follow-up care.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the Cath Lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab and critical care or ED.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to obtain a compact or active state license at time of submission.
• Experience with cardiac procedures including pacemaker/ICD implantations preferred.
