Night shift consisting of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring optimal outcomes for patients within an intensive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and fluids as prescribed.
• Assist with various medical procedures and maintain patient safety.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and nursing team meetings.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
