Description

Surgical Center RN - Days/Nights, 13 Weeks

Schedule

Available shifts include both 4x10’s (7 AM - 5 PM) and 3x12’s (7 AM - 7 PM). Candidates will be required to take call one weekend day in a four-week schedule.

Job Description

This position is located in a surgical center pre-operative area that serves both same-day and overnight stays. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care in the pre-operative phase for surgical patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
Administer IV therapy and medications as required.
Assist with various surgical procedures, including robotics.
Maintain comprehensive patient records using Allscripts EMR.
Work collaboratively with surgical and administrative teams in a fast-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification.
Must have IV skills and surgical care knowledge.
Charge Nurse or House Supervisor experience is preferred.
Ability to respond to a 30-minute call response time when on-call.
