Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide quality health care in a 167-bed Med/Surg telemetry unit, focusing on both adult and geriatric patient populations. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and administering treatments to improve patient outcomes. Nurses will be expected to float to other Med/Surg units as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license to practice in Tennessee.
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required.
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Must have IV insertion skills.
