Job Description

The Nurse Leader Consultant is responsible for managing clinical and other activities in the assigned unit(s), ensuring the implementation of the department's philosophy, goals, and standards. Responsibilities include formulating and monitoring budgets, directing staffing and scheduling, supervising care delivery, and overseeing orientation and educational needs of the staff. The position requires maintaining positive relations with other disciplines and promoting public relations for the Nursing Department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required
• Inpatient Adolescent (14-17 years old) Psych experience required
• De-escalation training/certification required (SAFE Training Course available onsite)
• Will float to Geriatric and Adult Behavioral Health units as needed
