Alternating Day/Night Shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00 or 19:30 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatrics and be adept in managing patients with tracheostomies and ventilators. This role involves caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with various diagnoses.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric patients.
Administer medications and treatments as per protocol.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in charts.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning.
Maintain and care for specialized equipment including trach/vents and PICCs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required.
Active RN license in the state of Maryland or compact license.
BLS and CPI certifications required; ACLS preferred.
Experience with pediatric step-down units highly preferred.
Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Meditech, is a plus.
