Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care and will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex wounds and ostomies. This position will work closely with the wound care team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments to evaluate wound and ostomy conditions.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for wound and ostomy management.
Provide patient and family education related to wound care and ostomy management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Perform wound care and utilize advanced wound therapy techniques as needed.
Participate in wound care team rounds on multiple units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license in MD or compact state.
Wound Care Certified (WCC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification preferred.
Minimum of 1-year experience in wound care or related specialty.
