Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist with extensive experience in an ICU and ER settings, including care for pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation. The ideal candidate should also have experience in a nursery environment, specifically in high-risk C-sections and as part of a resuscitation team. The therapist will float to various areas throughout the hospital, treating patients ranging from newborns to adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for patients in ICU, ER, and nursery settings.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and participate in resuscitation efforts.
• Utilize and maintain equipment including Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, and neo puff.
• Document patient information using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU and ER setting.
• Experience working in a nursery and participating in resuscitation teams.
• Certifications required: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Familiarity with pediatric care and equipment mentioned above.
