Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU/PEDS

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, working three shifts per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and PEDS experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Administer nebulizer therapy and Meter Dose Inhaler (MDI)/Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) medications.
Initiate and manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
Perform arterial blood gas collection, analysis, and reporting.
Manage airway procedures, assist with intubation, and bronchoscopies.
Provide tracheostomy care and conduct internal transport for patients.
Administer neonatal bubble CPAP and high flow oxygen therapy.
Deliver bronchopulmonary hygiene treatments and oxygen therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid RRT credential.
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
Experience in NICU and PEDS is essential.
