Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with moderate sedation experience to care for a diverse range of patients. Our specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma in a level 1 trauma center. The facility is equipped with two Davinci robots utilized across multiple services, and includes involvement in transplant programs for livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation in adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams across multiple specialties.
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment, including Davinci robots.
• Participate in the transplant programs for organ surgeries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in New York.
• Moderate Sedation Experience Required.
• IR Experience Required.
• Minimum of two years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma hospital is preferred.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association Required.
