Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' health status and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Document and report any changes in patient condition.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience.
- Must have a permanent Ohio license or valid compact license.
- American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
- Epic experience is mandatory.
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
