Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide critical care to patients in a variety of settings, ensuring a family-like environment where teamwork and integrity are prioritized. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and delivering treatment according to physician orders, while working collaboratively with nursing and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients/clients and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Set up and administer respiratory equipment and treatments as ordered.
• Conduct non-invasive ventilation and manage airway equipment.
• Perform ABG draws and EKGs as required during scheduled shifts.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to determine patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted if licensed prior to July 1, 2022.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• Experience in NICU, pediatrics, and adult respiratory care.
• Ability to intubate independently for pediatric and adult patients.
