This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Daylight shifts with a rotating schedule, including:

5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
7:30 AM - until finish (includes elective cases and any add-ons)

Weekend on-call required (6 AM to 6 PM, 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule). No elective schedule, only call coverage.

Job Description

This position is part of a small team of 6 staff (3 RNs and 3 surgical techs), covering 2 orthopedic operating rooms, 5 days a week. The 7:30 AM team will need to stay to finish elective cases and any add-ons, which may require working past the scheduled shift by 1 to 2 hours, though this is uncommon.

Responsibilities

Assist in surgical procedures in the orthopedic specialty.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgeries.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid RN license or surgical tech certification.
Prior experience in orthopedic surgery preferred.
