Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required. Call shifts also required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN to join our Women and Children’s Unit. The candidate will provide comprehensive care in a LDRP setting, attending to patients through their labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn needs.

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients in active labor, ensuring safety and comfort.
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
Administer medications and perform medical interventions as necessary.
Assist in neonatal resuscitation and provide care for newborns post-delivery.
Perform lab draws, IV starts, and other necessary procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
LDRP experience is required.
Current BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory; ACLS and PALS preferred.
Epic experience within the past 2 years is required.
