Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, with every third weekend and holiday coverage required. Float required across all campuses if needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care Rehab department will provide specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs, including stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, and post-operative surgical care. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, care planning, medication reconciliation, and executing treatment plans while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct EKG interpretations as required.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and interventions accurately in the EHR system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care rehab setting is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Epic charting system experience is required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass a required EKG exam during compliance.
