Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with high-risk infants and possess a strong skill set in respiratory therapy procedures. The position involves administering respiratory therapy to newborns and infants, supporting mechanical ventilation, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a Level II NICU.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP.
• Assist with intubation and mechanical ventilation processes for neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to NICU patients.
• Document patient care and treatment plans using the Meditech documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience.
• NICU experience is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications preferred.
• RRT credentialing is required.

Dress Code
