Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour Shift (07:00 - 15:30) with 1 on-call weekend required per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care in the endoscopy unit, assist with procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform endoscopic procedures and assist physicians during examinations.
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Administer sedation and assist in recovery as needed.
Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Handle patient care documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of experience in endoscopy nursing.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
