Night Shift RN - Acute Med/Surg/Tele

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options available for 36 or 48 hours per week, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the West 6 Med/Tele unit, providing exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced acute medical surgical environment. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients in a 40-bed unit, utilizing your clinical skills and expertise.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered nursing care.
Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement care.
Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
Be adaptable and float to other units when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele.
2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
Active New York RN license.
AHA BLS certification.
