Pediatric Echocardiographer

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours from 08:00 to 16:30. On-call duty once every 8 weeks approximately. Holiday and weekend work may be required as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Echocardiographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing echocardiograms for patients ranging from neonates to adults, specifically focusing on congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac diseases.

Responsibilities

Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms on pediatric patients
Assist with bubble studies and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient conditions
Document findings accurately in Epic, the charting system used
Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols as necessary

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience
Must hold current ARDMS RDCS AE and ARDMS RDCS PE certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Active state licensure as a healthcare professional
Experience with pediatric cardiac diseases is essential
