Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3, 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday work is required.

Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care and treatment to patients.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
Perform emergency procedures as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Maryland State License.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS.
Minimum of 2 years of charge nurse experience is preferred.
Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
