This position requires a 4x12 Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a tertiary care hospital setting. The RN will manage a patient load of 1:5 to 1:7 and will have experience in cardiac monitoring and emergency response. Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, as well as IV therapy and peripheral line management.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding to emergencies as necessary.
• Manage IV therapy and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Implement isolation precautions and handle related equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid New York RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg/Tele nursing experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
