Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3 days of 12 hours from 07:00 to 19:30 and 3 days of 12 hours from 11:00 to 23:30, with every other weekend and holiday shifts required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide high-quality care in a general emergency department that treats both adult and pediatric patients. The unit is both STEMI and Stroke certified, ensuring adherence to the highest medical standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a lower acuity environment.
• Provide emergency care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
• Administer emergency medications and perform various medical procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience as an ER RN required.
• Active Maryland RN license required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH.
• CPI certification to be completed on-site during onboarding.
• Community hospital experience is preferred.
