This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5 days per week with shifts on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and weekends from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Flexibility to work at other campuses within the system is required.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiographic studies and related procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. This role requires a commitment to floating within multiple facilities as needed based on patient care needs and staff circumstances.

Responsibilities

Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms, bubble studies, and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
Monitor patient telemetry and assist in critical care situations as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular specialty within the last 12 months.
Current BLS certification required.
ARDMS or CCI RC certification required.
Active New Jersey or Compact License needed.
