This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 07:45 AM to 04:30 PM with a 45-minute meal break. There are no call or weekend requirements.
Job Description
We are seeking a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with expertise in high-risk OB and outpatient GE. The candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations and provide care to OB/GYN patients, including level 1 OB scans and GYN scans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations for abdominal, OB/GYN, and neonatal patients.
- Perform specific procedures including Amniotic fluid index measurements and Fetal Anatomical Surveys.
- Utilize specialized ultrasound skills related to various organs and conditions.
- Support the team in providing patient-centered care and diagnostic reporting.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years experience in ultrasound, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Must hold ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, and BLS certifications.
- Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.
- Skills in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB assessments, and the ability to float to other units as necessary.
