Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Nurse to provide exceptional care for patients in a neuro intensive care unit. This position requires a robust skill set and clinical knowledge pertinent to neuro-related patient diagnoses.
Responsibilities
- Administer care to patients with neurological conditions
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:2
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation
- Perform specialized procedures such as care of ventilated patients, ICP monitoring, and management of acute strokes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and more
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Travel experience is required
