Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac IMC Nurse to join our team for the night shift. This position requires a strong background in cardiac care, with responsibilities including patient monitoring and management in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with a high patient ratio and possess critical care skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and manages patients in the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintains accurate patient records and communicates with the healthcare team.
- Provides exceptional patient and family education regarding health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Cardiac IMC or similar unit.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Proficient in managing cardiac telemetry and critical care protocols.
