Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac monitoring needs, as well as managing dysrhythmias and emergency responses. Your expertise in IV therapy, oxygen administration, and peripheral line management will be crucial to the success of your patients' care.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; proactively use Rapid Response/Code teams as needed.
• Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway management for patients.
• Conduct IV therapy and phlebotomy, ensuring proper peripheral line care and management.
• Implement isolation precautions as necessary and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State RN license (not Compact).
• BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in MS/Telemetry with respect to cardiac monitoring is essential.
