Staff Therapist - Physical Therapy

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Director, the Staff Therapist is accountable for administering Physical Therapy to patients from pediatric to geriatric populations, aiming to improve the patient's functional ability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and interpret evaluations and test results; determine treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
• Administer manual exercises and assist patients in performing physical activities.
• Administer physical therapy treatments using various methods, including massages and hydrotherapy.
• Evaluate effects of treatments and adjust plans as necessary.
• Document patient care services and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Ensure operation of equipment and comply with health and safety protocols.
• Participate in continuing education and develop staff through training programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Possession of a Physical Therapy License issued by the State of Colorado.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation principles related to physical and mental dysfunctions.
