Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory support and care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This position will involve administering respiratory therapy, ventilator management, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients requiring respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory support for patients with various diagnoses.
• Administer and manage mechanical ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory modalities.
• Perform necessary procedures such as ABG draws and tracheostomy care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team regarding patient care decisions.
• Participate in patient education and support discharge processes.
• Float as required within the specialty of respiratory care across the facility.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience required in respiratory therapy.
• Certifications: CRT or RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS; CPI certification is preferred.
• Must hold an active state or compact license for practice.
• Travel experience is required; first-time travelers may be considered.
