7a-7p / 7p-7a, 3x12s, variable shifts scheduled as needed by client, every other weekend, holiday + 2

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a critical care environment and must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on their assigned unit. The role involves assessing and interpreting data reflective of the patient's status and providing care tailored to the individual patient's needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered care to critical care patients.
Monitor and assess patient conditions accurately and timely.
Implement and document nursing interventions effectively.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA/RQI certs only), NIHSS.
Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.
CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
